Matt Gill is an English professional football coach and former player, born on November 8, 1980. He enjoyed a 17-year playing career, making over 450 league appearances for clubs like Peterborough United, Notts County, Exeter City, Norwich City, Walsall, Bristol Rovers, and Tranmere Rovers. Gill first ventured into coaching at Tranmere Rovers as an assistant manager to Rob Edwards. He retired from playing in 2014 and transitioned into coaching, eventually becoming the assistant manager of Southampton in the Championship.
